Anantara Spa at Banana Island Resort by Anantara has won four international awards in two main categories at the 2018 World Luxury Spa and Restaurant Awards gala event.
This emphasised the status Anantara Spa “occupies at the international and continental levels”, a press statement noted.
In the ‘Continent Winner’ category, Anantara Spa bagged the Best Luxury Destination Spa award, Best Luxury Hideaway Spa award and the Private Island Spa Middle East award. Anantara Spa also won the Luxury Wellness Spa Qatar award in the ‘Country Winners’ category.
“Anantara Spa at Banana Island Resort offers its guests a comprehensive range of health treatments to get rid of the effects of fatigue and provide the best ways to relax and enhance fitness to benefit their health and to rejuvenate their activity and energy,” the statement adds.
The spa is “characterised by a diverse menu of treatments that reflect the Arabic authentic roots of Qatar”, such as the relaxing bathing and steam experiences, which includes exclusive massage rituals in the traditional Turkish bath, dynamic treatments emitted by advanced Western methods to identify body lines and redefine its overall picture.
The spa treatments include skin peeling and body wrap as well that reflect the life-enhancing benefits of Arab heritage, which work side by side in tandem with the wisdom rituals of Thai therapy that work in relaxing sequences.
