Amiri Naval Forces celebrates graduation of officers from Sudan College of Marine Studies

The Qatari Amiri Naval Forces celebrated yesterday the graduation of officer candidates who completed their qualification period at the College of Marine Studies, in the Republic of Sudan. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief of Staff for Education and Training, H E Staff Major General Hamad Ahmed Al Nuaimi, H E Commander of Sudan Naval Forces Major General Mahjoub Bushra Ahmed Rahma, and a number of senior officers from both sides. During the ceremony, Al Nuaimi extended thanks and appreciation to the Republic of Sudan, and the Sudanese Armed Forces in particular, for the good treatment of students, in addition to providing them with continuous support. He also delivered a speech to the graduates on the occasion urging them to make more effort and work in order to serve the nation. The course, which officers’ candidates were enrolled in, lasted for three years and included field training and the acquisition of applied sciences, which qualified the participants to obtain a bachelor’s degree in marine studies. The course included academic subjects, various military sciences, practical sessions, field and sports training, in addition to long march, cross country training, and marathon.
