The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Consort of HH The Amir HH Sheikha Jowaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani attended the reception ceremony hosted by HM King Charles III of the United Kingdom for Their Majesties, Highnesses and Excellencies heads of states and governments taking part in the state funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II, at Buckingham Palace on Sunday.
HH The Amir and HH Sheikha Jowaher offered their condolences to HM King Charles III of the friendly United Kingdom, and to HM Queen Consort Camilla and the royal family.
Their Highnesses also extended congratulations to HM King Charles III on ascending to the throne, wishing him success, and the relations between the State of Qatar and the United Kingdom development and growth.
HM King Charles III expressed thanks and gratitude to HH The Amir and HH Consort of HH The Amir for their friendly and sincere feelings, looking forward to strengthening the historical relations between the two friendly countries.
