Amir, Saudi crown prince visit Lusail Stadium

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud visited on Thursday Lusail Stadium, one of the stadiums that will host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

During the visit, the Amir and the Saudi crown prince were briefed on the main characteristics of Lusail stadium in terms of its architecture, capacity, use of the latest technology, and the international standards used in its design.

The Amir and the Saudi crown prince were accompanied by His Highness the Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, and a number of Sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.

Present on the Saudi side were princes and members of the official delegation.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani led the farewell of his brother Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud upon his departure from the Doha International Airport along with the accompanying delegation yesterday, following an official visit to the country.

His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, His Highness the Personal Representative of the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, a number of Sheikhs and ministers, Qatar's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Bandar bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, and Saudi Ambassador Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan al-Saud were present to see off the crown prince and the accompanying delegation.
