Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met yesterday at the Amiri Diwan with the Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya, H E Fayez Mustafa Al Sarraj, who is in Qatar to take part in the Doha Forum 2019.
They discussed ties between the two brotherly countries in addition to the developments in Libya and in the region. H E Al Sarraj briefed H H the Amir on the latest developments in Libya.
H H the Amir affirmed the State of Qatar’s firm position in support for Libya and its unity, and for the internationally-recognised Libyan Government of National Accord.
