Doha - The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan HE Imran Khan on Sunday evening.
During the phone call which HH the Amir received from HE the Pakistani Prime Minister, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations and ways of enhancing and developing them.
The phone call also reviewed the latest developments in the regional and international arenas, especially the developments in Afghanistan.
The Pakistani Prime Minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HH the Amir for the efforts exerted by the State of Qatar in support of the peace process in Afghanistan, and praised its role in the evacuation operations of the civilians.
