ALM holds exclusive Aston Martin event ahead of Qatarق€™s first F1 Grand Prix

To mark Qatar’s first-ever Formula One Grand Prix, which concluded on Sunday, Alfardan Luxury Motors (ALM) hosted an exclusive evening for Aston Martin customers and prospects last Thursday at the British brand’s West Bay showroom at Alfardan Towers.

In attendance was executive chairman of Aston Martin Lagonda, Lawrence Stroll, who presented his team’s Show Car for the first time in Qatar. The Show Car edition of the first Aston Martin F1 car built in 60 years was presented in its green livery in recognition of the brand’s traditional racing colours and sporting legacy. Stroll also spoke about Aston Martin’s return to F1 and his team’s inaugural race in the country.

Stroll said: “It is a pleasure to be in Qatar for the first Grand Prix and have the chance to interact with Aston Martin customers and prospects here. The enthusiasm for our return to Formula One has been fantastic and it is always a delight for us to share our passion first-hand; I certainly look forward to what the coming days will bring for our team.”

ALM general manager Samer Bou Dargham said: “It is a great honour for us to have welcomed Lawrence Stroll to our showroom, and an incredible opportunity for us to be able to present the Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Show Car on the eve of Qatar’s first Grand Prix.”

The Aston Martin Formula One Team – consisting of four-time F1 World Champion, Sebastian Vettel and multiple Grand Prix podium finisher, Lance Stroll – made its race debut earlier this year.

ALM, the official dealer for Aston Martin in Qatar, opened the Middle East’s largest Aston Martin showroom in October 2020.

The showroom features the very latest Aston Martin global look and feel and showcases its full range of award-winning Second Century models including the marque’s first SUV, DBX.

The showroom is supported by a state-of-the-art service facility complete with high-end customer hosting capabilities.
