Qatar recently hosted the worldwide media launch of the class-leading KTM bike Super Duke 1290R – 2017 model.
Alfardan Motorcycles played a major role in the success of the five-day test ride event held at the Losail International Circuit, by providing state-of-the-art logistics and support to deliver maximum impact suited for the formal international unveiling of the latest premier Super Duke model.
In addition, more than 30 participants from the Middle East and Africa of best-in-class KTM motorbikes gathered in Qatar to participate in the ‘KTM Importers Conference’– the first ever in the region – which took place on the heels of the landmark international media launch of the 2017 KTM bike model.
During the test ride of the new ‘beast,’ so-called for the bike’s fast and smooth performance, over 70 international journalists from 26 nations participated.
To take their experience further, a landmark ‘introduction ride’ on public roads was introduced to the overall programme for media guests to get the feel of riding the high-performing model.
The major part of the riding took place on the MotoGP-approved, 5.3-km Losail International Circuit.
The bike trip on the Pearl Qatar also served as an ideal platform for interaction among the press and renowned motorcycle racers and official KTM ambassadors ‘Irish Ironman’ Jeremy McWilliams and ‘Michigan Man’ Chris Fillmore.
