Al Sheehaniya Municipality (a member of the Unesco Network for Learning Cities) is intensifying its educational activities among schools to spread the principles of sustainability and the importance of agriculture. An event was held in co-operation with Brooq Independent Primary Girls School. The programme comprised a lecture on the importance of agriculture and the concept and principles of sustainability and distribution of seedlings to students who were also briefed how to grow them.
