Doha: Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi issued today a ministerial decision regarding the annual school calendar for academic year 2022-2023.
In accordance with the provisions of the resolution, school staff for the academic year 2022-2023 will start on August 14, 2022 and students will start on August 16, 2022, while the second semester will start on December 25, 2022.
The decision also specified the start and end date of all events, programmes and activities, including exams and vacations, and the beginning and end of each semester.
Half year vacation of the academic year will be from November 20, 2022 to December 22, 2022.
The vacation for academic staff for next academic year will start from June 18, 2023 till August 17, 2023.
The last exam of the academic year will be on June 6, 2023.
