The General Control Section at Al Shamal Municipality carried out 579 regular inspection tours in December last year at various areas and removed 83 abandoned vehicles in co-ordination with the entities concerned.

The Technical Control Section carried out 130 regular inspections and issued one violation report and referred the matter to the security entity concerned. The general cleanliness section carried out 122 applications for fighting insects and rodents, in addition to some sanitisation campaigns at the key areas. The gardens section also planted seasonal flowers at the public parks and gardens and the public roads of the municipality, besides pruning trees.
