The 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat Corner' has been inaugurated on the Indian embassy premises to showcase handmade products from the tribal regions of India. In the presence of dignitaries and guests, Indian ambassador Dr Deepak Mittal inaugurated the corner on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, which is observed on November 15 to mark the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, the great patriot and martyr. During an event held on the occasion, the ambassador briefed - through a presentation - the participating heads of apex bodies and Indian community representatives on the initiatives taken by the Indian government for the empowerment and progress of tribal communities. A short film on the life of Birsa Munda made by Doordarshan was screened during the occasion.
