Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with Domasco - Doha Marketing Services Co, W.L.L, dealer of Volvo in Qatar, announced the recall of Volvo XC90, XC60, XC40, S60, and S90 models of 2019-2020 due to possible malfunction in the automatic braking system in case of emergency situations, which may increase the risk of an accident.
The recall campaign comes within the framework of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The Ministry said that it will coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that they carried out the necessary repairs.
The Ministry urged all customers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquires and suggestions.
