Ooredoo yesterday announced more than 100,000 customers have already signed up for its recently launched Shahry 5G and Qatarna 5G plans and are now enjoying the many benefits on offer.

Ooredoo’s new plans come loaded with fantastic entertainment including premium football leagues and top-tier global sporting events with the beIN Connect app; Hollywood and Bollywood movies with STARZ PLAY and ErosNow; and thousands of buy-one-get-one free offers at a wide range of leading leisure, lifestyle and dining options with the Urban Point app in Qatar, Kuwait and Oman.

Customers with 5G-enabled devices will be able to take advantage of Ooredoo’s phenomenal 5G network in areas where it is commercially available. All customers, whether on 4G or 5G, will be able to enjoy more data in the new plans and better endless access to the Internet even if their data allowance is fully consumed. With the Add-Ons, customers can also personalise their plans, giving them extra data and extra local and international minutes.

Speaking of the popularity of the plans, Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari, director of Public Relations at Ooredoo Qatar, said: “With complete customer satisfaction a key goal at Ooredoo, we’re delighted to see our new Shahry and Qatarna plans are so popular with our customers. We know they represent excellent value for money and offer great flexibility, and of course provide access to all the incredible benefits of entertainment, endless data and our 5G network at no additional cost.”
