Doha: The Maritime Customs Department at Al Ruwais foiled an attempt to smuggle hashish into the country.
The Customs Department has shared photos of the banned substance which was found hidden in a secret way near the truck chassis.
The total weight of the seized hashish was 1 kilogram.

The authorities have been issuing continuous warnings against carrying illegal substances into the country.
Customs officers are provided with all means of support including the latest devices and continuous training to read the body language of passengers and be aware of the latest methods followed by smugglers.
