Doha, Qatar: The General Directorate of Traffic is pleased to announce the introduction of license plates featuring the Expo 2023 Doha logo. These distinctive license plates will be accessible starting November 16, 2023, and interested motorists can obtain them by adhering to specified guidelines and paying the designated fee.
The Ministry of Interior emphasizes that the new license plate is optional and not mandatory for any vehicle registration, including for first-time registrations. It is exclusively available for private license plates.
It is important to note that counterfeiting and unauthorized installation of the logo are strictly prohibited, and violators may face legal consequences, as highlighted by the Ministry.
