Saudi Arabia Announces June 16, 2024, as the First Day of Eid Al Adha

Doha, Qatar: The new crescent moon of Dhul Hijjah was sighted in Saudi Arabia on Thursday night, indicating that the last month of the Islamic Hijri calendar will begin today, June 7.

This announcement was made by the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia.

Eid Al Adha will be celebrated on June 16, 2024, with the Day of Arafat observed on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
