MoECC has updated camping conditions to promote sustainability and protect the local environment, including plant cover and biodiversity. The ministry emphasizes the national duty of conserving the environment, which is a shared heritage for all citizens and residents of Qatar.

Regarding camping conditions, Fawzi Al Shamari, Head of the winter camping season team, stated that requesting the same camping location as in the previous season is subject to site availability and priority in applying for the site. Violation of ministry conditions may result in camp removal, and the ministry reserves the right to revoke the environmental permit in case of non-compliance. Permit holders are not allowed to obtain more than one permit and must allow ministry inspectors to ensure compliance with permit conditions during the camp setup.
