Doha: The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has issued a warning in its latest weather forecast, indicating a risk of hail in certain parts of Qatar.
"❗️Thundery rain observed in most areas associated with strong wind and chance of hail [in] #Qatar," announced QMD on its social media platforms.
QMD further noted that "thundery rain continues to be observed in different areas of the country, including the city of Doha, accompanied by sudden activity of winds."
On Sunday, February 11, many areas across Qatar experienced strong winds along with light to moderate rainfall. However, Kahramaa had previously reported electricity service interruptions in several areas due to continuous heavy rain.
QMD advised all citizens and residents to exercise caution during this weather condition.
