Al Shamal Municipality’s General Control Section has carried out 3,580 regular inspection tours to spot violations of the Public Hygiene Law.
A total of 204 violation reports were issued.
Out of a total of 1,574 abandoned vehicles spotted, 249 were removed.
A campaign to remove abandoned vehicles and equipment, carried out in co-operation with the Service Affairs Department and Al Shamal Security Department, saw 77 warning stickers posted on as many vehicles, and 16 vehicles, equipment and abandoned cabinets were removed.
Further, 61 abandoned vehicles were removed by owners.
