The General Cleanliness Department removed during December 2021 as much as 76,334 tonnes of waste, including domestic, construction and solid waste, in addition to 25,557 tonnes of miscellaneous waste. These included 5,788 damaged tyres, 38 sign boards, 548 animal carcasses, 225 abandoned cars, and 169 reports of the Public Hygiene Law violations were issued.
