Doha: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) informed citizens and residents on the role of a victim in a cybercrime.
The Ministry advised everyone not to respond to phishing messages, in which fraudsters will try to “blackmail” victims into cybercrimes.
The Ministry reminded citizens and residents to remain vigilant against these cybercrimes.
On Twitter, the Ministry stated: "Your awareness and attention to the emerging forms of crime enhance your security and safety."
