HE Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed al-Thani, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, paid an inspection visit to the ministry’s activities organised on the occasion of World Environment Day at Tawar Mall. He toured the various pavilions of the exhibition and was acquainted with various events, such as the children's theatre, environmental awareness competitions, the pavilion for learning agriculture and dealing with plants, as well as the pavilion for drawing nature. In addition, he was briefed on the participation of various departments that inform the public of their specialisations, fields of work and the outcome of their achievements, such as the Monitoring Department, Environmental Laboratory, Department of Industrial Inspection, Wildlife Development Department and Public Relations Department (Awareness Section). HE the Minister also visited the air quality monitoring station at the entrance to the complex to inform the public of the efforts made by the ministry in this field.
