HE the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali al-Thani honoured Saturday governmental bodies that participated in the Qatari Environment Day 2022, with distinguished initiatives.

The recognition reflected the ministry's belief in the importance of efforts made to protect the Qatari environment and the country's natural resources. HE the Minister stressed the importance of public participation in protecting the environment, along with the efforts of the state. Those recognised said it will motivate them to continue with their efforts. Qatar celebrates Environment Day on February 26 of every year.
