What is the percentage
The percentage is nothing but it is a number or ratio expressed as a fraction of 100. It denoted using the % symbol. The word percentage comes from the Latin word per centum, which means per hundred. In other words, percentage, or percent, is a part of a whole.
Example of percentage
50% means 50 per 100 that means half.
10% is nothing but 10 out of every 100. So if 10% of 100 people have ice cream, then 10 people have ice cream.
