Eighteen Sri Lankans evacuated from Kabul, Afghanistan, to Doha were repatriated to Sri Lanka on Monday night, the Sri Lankan embassy said. The embassy provided consular and logistics assistance to ensure their safe return. In a post on Facebook on Tuesday, the embassy extended its "sincere appreciation" to the Qatari authorities concerned for their "invaluable assistance towards this endeavour".
