The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure of Sports Hall Intersection (Villaggio Intersection) on Al Waab Street while keeping the right turns open on Friday for 10 hours from 2am to 12pm. The closure that will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic has been announced in order to allow for the completion of asphalt works.
Road users coming from Muaithar and heading for Villaggio Mall are advised to use Khalifa Olympic City Intersection to reach their destination. Road users coming from Al Sadd and heading for Muaithar are advised to use the U-turn at Villaggio Mall R/A to reach their destination.
Road users coming from Villaggio Mall and heading for Al Sadd are advised to use Baaya Intersection to reach their destination.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
