The National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) Chairman Dr Ali bin Smaikh al-Marri met the
Chairman of the Arab Permanent Committee on Human Rights Dr Amjad Shammout in Doha
yesterday. The meeting dealt with the repercussions of the siege on human rights, the
humanitarian situation of the citizens of Qatar and its residents, both the nationals of Gulf
Co-operation Council states and other countries.
