Al Shamal Municipality has adopted a work plan to continue the operations of its municipal control department and services affairs department throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
The veterinarians supervise work at Al Shamal slaughterhouse from 5am until 5pm daily, in addition to the fish markets in day and afternoon shifts.
Besides, all the food outlets will be under control and inspection tours on two daily shifts as well to ensure that all the food health and safety standards are followed strictly. Inspectors will see to it that workers at these places wear gloves, face masks, and head covers during work and restaurants do only home delivery. Customer complaints on related issues will be received and addressed as usual.
The municipal services affairs department will continue to follow up the closure of public parks and gardens while continuing the irrigation and maintenance works as scheduled. The department will continue to receive related requests and applications from 9am to 1pm and from 8am until 12 midnight on working days.
