Compliance and Risk Manager

Job Description:• Development and implementation of the compliance program related QF Schools operations;

• Perform substantive compliance and examination work and conduct internal reviews and monitoring of QF Schools business processes compliance with applicable QF policies, procedures, and requirements;

• Identifies potential gaps and coordinates remediation, as appropriate, in conjunction with policies and best practices;

• Reporting on a regular basis to the school governing body and PUE leadership on the progress of implementation, and assisting these components in establishing methods to improve efficiency and quality of services, and to reduce the vulnerability to misuse, abuse, and waste;

• Periodically revising the program in light of changes in the needs throughout the schools wide in the policies and procedures; 

• Plan and conducts effective business related operational compliance reviews to identify any non-compliance issues with internal control risks, business risks, and operational cost reduction opportunities.

• Prepare compliance reports and discuss any concerns with management directly responsible for resolution;

• Observe and comply with QF health and safety policies and procedures and report any observed hazards, maintenance or cleaning issues to schools director; 

• Present gaps and recommendations to the senior-level management with practical cost-effective recommendations to remediation and overall improve internal control weaknesses and inefficiencies.

• Work collaboratively with the business to ensure that appropriate control standards and procedures are developed and followed;

• Support the development of compliance monitoring plans by coordinating the business specific compliance reviews, routine checks, transaction monitoring and approvals; 

• Provide reporting and trending information of  identified risks to PUE management and QF Schools BOG;

• Independently investigating and acting on matters related to compliance, including the flexibility to design and coordinate internal investigations (e.g., responding to reports of problems, calls, or suspected violations) and any resulting corrective actions; 

• As a member of the PUE Administration team this position will be expected to handle such additional ad-hoc  activities as requested by management or other's senior leadership position;

• Coordinate with all levels of management to review, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding gaps and corrective actions;

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional working relationships and add value as a business partner to reduce overall business risks with cost reduction opportunities;

• Strong interpersonal skills capable of working closely with and influencing other staffs at all level's management;

• Strong negotiating and influencing with interpersonal skills capable of working closely with at all levels of management.
