Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established byEmiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. Primary purpose of job

Direct & manage a comprehensive asset integrity assurance system.This encompasses all of the Fire Engineering & Rescue division mobile and fixed assets to ensure they are all tested and calibrated in accordance with best practice and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Fire divisions’ logistics system to ensure that all emergency response and safety related consumables are available.Manage the fire & Rescue equipment & Logistics tests and audits within the defined responsible areas in coordination with fire operations management.

Experience & Skills -

Preferably a minimum 12 years experience in fire operations, with minimum 5 years experience at management level preferably in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry.- Leadership, management, problem solving, decision-making, interpersonal skills, negotiation and organizational influence skills.- Needs to have excellent communication skills to be able to work in the multi national environment during emergency situations.- Strong mathematical skills are required to meet the challenges at an incident to ensure there are sufficient resources and capacity available to effectively deal with a broad range of credible scenarios covering the spectrum of risks associated with the Industrial Cities response areas and mutual aid partners.- Technical writing skills required to develop specifications for a broad range of fixed and mobile firefighting equipment and systems. Must have sound knowledge of the relevant codes and standards to ensure regulatory compliance.- Intermediate English Language (QP L5) both spoken and written.

Education

Diploma in a relevant discipline from an internationally recognized institutionGraduate of the Institution of Fire Engineers or equivalent.
