Doha: A small fire occurred at one of the stores that is undergoing fit out at Mall of Qatar.
No injuries or loss in property were sustained during the incident, a statement from the company said.
The statement added:
“At Mall of Qatar we have invested in the latest state-of-the-art fire control systems that worked perfectly. Moreover, our safety and security officers are highly trained to act promptly in emergency situations On top of this, we follow global best practices when it comes to safety and emergency evacuation procedures.”

Many leading retail outlets are getting ready for the opening in December. They are expected to have over 500 retail outlets including over 100 food outlets.
They faced a fire during the construction in April and no one was injured in the event.
