In wake of the April 25 earthquake disaster in Nepal, Safari Group of Companies immediately participated in the relief mission of the Nepal Embassy by contributing QR25,000 to Non Resident Jhapali Alliance Forum (NRJAF) through Jhapa Sampark Manch for sending a team with relief materials.

For the affected employees working with the Safari Group, the management has decided to send money from a relief fund to their kin for reconstruction of their destroyed and damaged houses and medical treatment of their loved ones. 3.50 million Nepali rupees will be sent for around 100 of its affected employees’ families.

The Group has decided to support by donating 75,000 Nepali rupees for the employees who have lost their kin, 50,000 Nepali rupees to those with destroyed homes and 25,000 Nepali rupees for those whose houses have been damaged.

2,000 employees from different countries are working in the Safari Group and about 400 are from Nepal. “We are treating all our employees like our family members, their loss and suffering is treated as ours. We will do everything to bring their lives back to normal,” Aboobacker Madappat (pictured), Managing Director of the company, said.
