Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), in association with MasterCard, launched yesterday the exclusive “Win Your Purchases Back” promotion, where 15 QIB customers have the chance to win back international purchases for using MasterCard debit cards between July 21 and September 20, 2014.
Affluent and private customers purchasing items outside Qatar with a QIB MasterCard Platinum or World debit card will be eligible to win up to QR15,000. With more purchases, customers have a higher chance of winning. QIB offers a range of MasterCard debit cards with various features, with all cards accepted at merchants, outlets and ATMs worldwide.
The cards also offer customers the convenience of cashless shopping with which one can enjoy a number of discounts at international restaurants and hotels.QIB cards are specifically designed for the convenience of travellers. The QIB MasterCard debit card offers cashless convenience, enabling customers to withdraw cash 24/7 and pay for purchases from their current or savings accounts within their balance limits.
QIB Personal Banking Group general manager D Anand said the bank offers exclusive products to its premium segment.

Supplementary cards will also be eligible and will be included into the draw along with the primary cardholders. The draw will be held in October 2014.
QIB announces holiday timings at branches
Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced that its Dar Al Salam Mall and City Center branches will be open in the evening, on the second day of Eid and throughout the break to ensure uninterrupted services for its customers during the holidays.
Working hours for the two mall branches will be from Saturday till Thursday, starting from 9am to 2.30pm and from 3.30pm to 9pm.
On Friday, working hours will be from 4pm to 9pm.
QIB e-channels will also be available 24/7 through Internet banking, QIB mobile banking application, call centre and in the more than 160 ATMs spread across the country.
The bank said its “ultimate objective” is to provide a convenient banking experience for clients through the two mall branches and its 24/7 alternative channels, as it is QIB’s way of extending its warmest greetings and wishes to all the people of Qatar on Eid al-Fitr.
