QA extends Travel Festival for two days

Qatar Airways has announced an extension of its Travel Festival until today.

With this, “exceptional discounts” continue for people travelling together along with special companion fares, up to 40% off and ‘kids fly free’, the Doha-based carrier has said in a statement.

The extended promotional period covers flights on board the airline’s First Class, Business Class and Economy Class, on flights across its global network of more than 150 places for travel until December 15.

The airline has encouraged travellers to visit any Qatar Airways sales office, preferred travel agent or qatarairways.com/travelfestival to avail of the

offers.

Qatar Airways has partnered with AccorHotels and leading payments technology company Visa to give passengers discounts on accommodation as part of the festival. Travellers who book with AccorHotels at AccorHotels.com will receive exclusive offers on accommodation. Visa card holders can also avail up to 15% further off flights at the time

of booking.

Qatar Airways chief commercial officer Dr Hugh Dunleavy said, “I’m really excited to be able to extend our best-ever Travel Festival by an additional two days. The Travel Festival has, as expected, been very popular and so far we have given away more than 200 Golden Tickets and 500 prizes through our social media channels.”

This year’s online Golden Ticket offer has again created a hive of activity on Qatar Airways’ social media channels, where travellers can uncover clues to access further discounts and even claim $0 fare tickets to dream destinations. “Thousands of customers from across the globe have eagerly searched for the magic travel dates, with over 200 zero-fare ‘golden’ tickets being found so far,” the statement noted.

Qatar Airways Holidays is also providing an extension to its deals on hotels and accommodation across a number of the airline’s 150 destinations. Double Qmiles can also be earned on flights booked by Privilege Club members.
