Kuwait sponsorwhip law now allows expartriate workers to change jobs / sponsor for those who have worked for a continous term of 3 years for your current employer. Manpower authority director Ahmad Al moosa annpunced the same last day - Kuwait local dailies reported. It is also specific that before job change after giving the notice the employee have to serve a notice period of 3 Months with the existing employer. It is also reported that expartiraites should be given 3 years Iqama and should be allowed to renew for nect three years after this term. The deadline for renewal of Iqama is reported to be three months before the expiry of the existing one.
The ones on dependant visa on completion of a one year term will be eligible be changed to company visa ( shoon visa ) . Also the report says with sponors permission all expartriate can change jobs after one year.
